Fishin at Whitney

The kids had a good time fishing. Ryder and Neva both caught some uintah brookies and of course Steve caught the rainbow lunk. I tried to get Neva to reel in the large fish but she didn't have the strength to reel in such a powerful beast. Good times

Camping Trip

This is our campsite up at Whitney Reservoir in Utah. Steve, Ryder, Neva and Grandpa went up to enjoy the outdoors for a few days. The nights got really cold when the sun went down, especially for us Arizona folk. We were pretty much the only ones up there because we went mid week after the Labor Day holiday. This is a perfect place to car camp.

4 Years Old

Take a look at my princess cake! Grandma and Aunt Neenee help make my very first princess cake and oh what a beauty. Neva got to celebrate her 4th birthday with her friends from Utah and she got a lot of pink presents.

Fun at the Pool

Ryder and Neva sure do love to go to the city pool. Towards the end of the season Neva was brave enough to go underwater for a few seconds. Ryder is getting very close to learning how to swim.

At the Pool

We took the kids to the pool and they swam for a while but their favorite part of the night was playing in the grass. There isn't much grass in this Town, especially grass on a slope. Rolling down the grass slope was a must. The heat is managable after sunset especially at the pool.

First Blog for site

It has been very hot lately, its been highs over 110 for a bit here now and the summer soltice is not until Saturday.  We take the kids to the pool quite frequently.  The kids still have water fears so they stay in the neck and below water.  The paper route still bites but we are trying this Hypermiling technique of driving and it works quite well.  We generally have to fill the van up with gas every 5th day because of the terrain we deliver in.  Since we started the hypermiling we have extended the fill up to the 7th day.  It works and it saves money.  I turn on the indicator in the van and sometimes i can get more than 99 mpg, downhill of course.  We will be posting pics soon to be as cool as the other Boyle clan up in Alaska.  "If you eat it, it must be good".
